About

Slick.mo is the brainchild of photographer/videographer Nate Lawson.  Wanting a way to express his creativity in a fun and informal way, he started Slickmo.

The term “Slickmo” is the combination of two words: “slick” and “motion”.  While stationed in Germany with the US Army, one of Nate’s supervisors called everyone “Slick”.  So the term kind of stuck.

The second word is exactly what it says, “motion”.  For awhile, Nate was creating stop-motion films using Legos.  So it just seemed appropriate to use part of the word.

And Slickmo was born.

The point was inserted later in an attempt to make the logo look more “Web 2.0-ish”.  Does it work??

Thank you!
